The dolmus is an extremely popular and handy form of transport. You must try it or you can not say travelling around Turkey. Originally dolmuses were shared taxis that set out as soon as they are filled up.

Dolmuses are usually small minibuses that operate the whole day until late in the night on certain routes , weather full or not. Fares a usually a matter of some lira.
