Yildiz Clock Tower
Another well-known clock tower is the Yildiz Clock Tower. It is located in the garden of the Yildiz Mosque, close to Besiktas. It was built by Sultan Abdul Hamid II in 1889.

The clock tower is built in the Ottoman neo-gothic style and includes a thermometer and a barometer. From the outside the tower is additionally decorated with inscriptions. The center of your attention however the compass rose on the roof will catch.
