The Istanbul Modern Art Museum
The museum is usually just called Istanbul Modern. It presents a large collection of Turkish modern art-works and was opened in 2004. It was founded by the thanks Eczacibasi family. The museum is located in a converted warehouse in the Tophane district on the Bosphorus. It includes also a rich library, a cinema and a souvenir shop.
