The Archaeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum was build by Vallaury and the construction was greatly supported by the famous Turkish painter Osman Hamdi Bey. The complex houses a traditional tiled kiosk and the Museum of the Ancient Orient Arts with more than 15000 archeological pieces. The museum's beauty is the Sarcophagus of Alexander the Great. Besides this, you can look at a large collection of art-works from the Roman and Greek era as well as exhibits of the Anatolian culture. The Exhibit date back as early as to the 6th century BC.
