Mahmut Pasa Mosques
The Mahmut Pasa mosque is a typical mosque from the early Ottoman epoch. It was built by the Grand Vizier Mahmut Pasa and was one of the first mosques which have been built after Istanbuls conquest. At this place Mahmud Pascha not only introduced a mosque but more a kind of cultural-religiouse complex.
