The Greek orthodox patriarchy

The Saint George church in the district of Fener symbolizes the main head office of the Greek orthodox patriarchy. The church has a quiet decent building style with no flourish at all. The interior, however includes an adorned throne, ancient mosaics and a column Jesus was captivated. Additionally Sarkophagis of three Saints are housed in Saint George church.

Assyrian church

The Syrian living in Turkey settled down in Istanbul from Mardin and Midyat.. Syrian Orthodox people have been visiting the Meryem Ana Kilisesi church in Tarlabasi. It was built was built with stones from and symbolizes the centre of the Assyrian community in Istanbul.
