Beykoz
Beykoz is also located on the Asian part of Istanbul and faces the Bosporus and the Black Sea. The quarter has a lot of beautiful parks , woods as well as noble villas and is a popular housing area. Beykoz looks back on a long history. Worth seeing are the Egyptian tower (built by Abbas II ), the Ottoman summer palace (Kücük Su Karsi) and the ancient castle complex in Anadolu Hisari. Close to Beykoz is Polonezköy- a idyllic completely different part of Istanbul. Polonezköy was established by Polish, Czeck and Bohemian soldiers at the end of the Crimean War.
